Illuminart Artists Residency @ The Depot Adelaide Fringe 2013

Illuminart set up our own visual artists residency at The Depot during Fringe 2013, creating installations in the form of projection sculptures, mapped projections and interactive playspaces that popped up and evolved over a 6 week period.

Set at the former Adelaide central bus station in the heart of the CBD, The Depot was a series of spaces with a spontaneous, industrial aesthetic. From illuminart’s shipping container emerged mobile projections, modded hacked and resurrected installations, and some experimental applications of our mapping techniques. These helped to light the place up on those hot sparkly nights, while during the day we were often found on site tinkering.
