NarraBRIGHT 2026

NarraBRIGHT 2026 will transform Narrabri’s CBD and Collins Park into a night-time experience of light, storytelling, and community connection. Set across the town centre and creek precinct, the event invites locals and visitors to gather after dark and see familiar places shift into something unexpected.

Developed with Narrabri Shire Council and local stakeholders, the project responds to a desire to activate the town at night in a way that is accessible, place-based, and community-driven. The 2026 theme, Fantasy, opens a space for imagination, bringing mythical creatures and otherworldly environments into the streets of Narrabri.

illuminart are working across concept, design, and delivery of projection-based artworks and installations integrated into the built and natural environment. Each element is designed to encourage movement through the town, creating a series of moments that unfold across the evening.

Running as a free public event on Friday 10 April 2026, NarraBRIGHT will create a shared experience that brings people together, supports local activity, and builds momentum for future cultural activation in the region.
