INFORMATION:

Projection arts company Illuminart will work with selected local Port Adelaide artists to transform a Port Adelaide dockside building with ephemeral / temporary projected murals, showcasing the potential of rapid mural prototyping and futuristic urban transformations.

The new technique of temporary mural prototyping will be of interest to Architects, Urban Planning Authorities, Urban Dwellers and Property Developers… and is presented in a family friendly format to encourage participation and enjoyment of this innovative event.

The Port Adelaide artists commissioned to create the mural artworks will each design a vision, and showcase the way they would use mural art to transform this building.

Guests are invited to BYO picnic, chairs, blankets (or can have them already provided as a reward for having  helped to crowdfund the project).

This inaugural commissioned ephemeral mural event was held for public viewing on the eve of 17 August 2013.
