1: EAST END ECHOES

East End Echoes was a captivating digital storytelling project by illuminart for Illuminate Adelaide 2021, transforming Rundle Street into a self-guided night-time journey of light, sound, and animated projections. Blending heritage tales with architectural artistry, it invited visitors to explore the East End’s vibrant history through immersive, BYO-headphones experiences.
2: SALTY FOREST

The Salty Forest was a vibrant community-led projection project for the 2023 Port Pirie SALA Winter Festival, transforming the Memorial Rotunda into an immersive lantern celebrating the unique ecology of South Australia’s mangrove forests. Created through local workshops and cultural collaboration, the installation lit up the night with stories, art, and soundscapes honouring the biodiversity and spirit of the region. Narrated by April Wilson for Nukunu Wapma Thura Aboriginal Corporation, and illustrated by Port Pirie emerging artist Georgia Northcott. This project was funded by Festivals Australia.
3: AUS LIGHTS ON THE RIVER

Aus Lights on the River 2024 was a vibrant celebration of connection, culture, and country, transforming Elder Park into a luminous hub of immersive art, family learning activities, and community reflection, curated to support Marine and Gulf waters environmental awareness. Creative Direction by Cindi Drennan with digital art and curatorial contributions from illuminart and network—including stunning projections, interactive installations, and a spectacular fireworks display synchronised with soundscape and visuals—the event invited audiences to explore themes of belonging, nature, and shared identity. This project was a commission by the Australia Day Council of SA.
