Training and Mentorship
Illuminart has developed from a single artist innovating with the projection artform to being a conscientious creative social enterprise that engages with communities in the co-creation of illumination projects. We intend to continue this process as we consider it best practice, but we can only produce two to three projects per year. However our success has meant that we have increasingly been contacted by artists seeking training, mentorship and knowledge in projection art, and by organisations and communities looking for information and project support.
We generally involve artists from communities we are working in to participate as co-creators and mentees. We need support to provide opportunities for emerging artists and regional artists to participate in projects.
