Tom Kitney, based in Adelaide, is illuminart’s Lighting Director, looking after all lighting elements across illuminart’s events, collaborations, and permanent installations.
Over the past decade, Tom has carved a niche for himself with his creative and immersive lighting designs. His expertise spans various genres and settings, from intimate immersive productions to large-scale outdoor events. Known for his innovative approach, Tom combines traditional lighting techniques with cutting-edge technology to create visually stunning designs that enhance storytelling and create emotional connection.
Tom’s artistic practice is multidisciplinary, incorporating lighting, sound, videography, photography, carpentry, electronics, and design. His diverse skill set allows him to transform spaces and create unique atmospheres that captivate audiences.
