More about us:

VR is set to take off in 2017 and illuminart wants to ensure that older people can influence what new content gets made. We also want to encourage senior people to have a chance to test drive technology with the help of tech savvy people, and for Queen Street Cafes to provide a fun alternative venue to experience the Virtual!

Satisfy your curiosity and test a Virtual Reality VR headset. Use your experience to help us to design tomorrows world today… and have a laugh with us as we tackle some of the issues involved in using VR Goggles!

It will be especially interesting for older people who aim to be empowered and up to date with technology, or who like thinking creatively. Illuminart are also interested to meet Seniors who think technology could be used for social good and betterment of the world. Our goal is to work with Seniors to bring the idea of creative ageing together with technological confidence and self expression.

We’d like you to be involved. Please book in to the workshops, join in the conversation or just prepare to be surprised at ‘pop up’ events on Queen Street.
