On 4 July 1970 the Corporation of the City of Whyalla came into being and fifty years later, Whyalla Council marked the milestone, inviting community members and councillors to contribute photographs to be turned into a Covid-safe projection piece that would also be shared online.
The final projection piece was presented on Friday 31 July on the Middleback Arts Centre outdoor wall and has been shared over following months, on social media. Community were able to contribute to, and enjoy the project, without physically gathering, during a time of restrictions.
