Heritage
Illuminart have a long background in illustrating, illuminating and interpreting heritage through stories in light.
Our work has included working with communities to celebrate and commemorate significant events; supporting placemaking through research and presentation projects; partnerships with cultural organisations and museums to interpret heritage collections.
We work in historic precincts to assist with promoting and sharing the rich stories behind Australia’s significant places.
Below are just some of the small and large projects we have undertaken, to shine a light on Australia’s unique heritage.
Story Wall – a permanent outdoor architectural projection installation and all heritage content, designed, installed and maintained for the State Library of South Australia.
ANZAC projections in Parramatta – commemorating Parramatta’s participation in WW1 for the centenary of ANZAC.
ANZAC Albany Projection and Storytelling – a series of projection stories in light around Albany WA, to present significant stories of WW1.
Port Inhabited – a festival production, designed, presented and animated by illuminart for Port Festival 2011.
