Video of the Tactile Workshops: Storytelling through textures!

David Capra, one of the artists of the No Boundaries project team, worked with individuals and groups in the Penrith area to create some tactile and textural story panels. The artwork created is being completed now, for presentation as part of the daytime installations at the No Boundaries site. You can find them in a series of installations around the columns of the colonnade at the spectacular free public event on the 21st and 22nd September.

Many images created in thee workshops were photographed, and are currently being worked on as digital media… so you will see some of these very images come to life as animations in the No Boundaries projection on the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre.

The workshop, the beautiful textures and fabrics, and the fun moments with sticky glue were captured and edited by Hajnalka Tulogdi and Ingrid Rowel. Enjoy seeing some of the playful magic from the workshop and come and join the fun using recycled and salvaged materials… next time!
