After months I finally managed to be in the area at the right time (Friday 1:30-4:30) to visit the Port Historical Society’s rooms on Semaphore Rd. Here is an absolute wealth of photos and documentation about the early portonians and trade in the area. So… whatever images we are still missing, we hope to find here when we return for image research next Friday!

For people who haven’t been before… its not hard to find once you know where to look (and its possible to make appointments to go in at other times besides the Friday afternoons, if you need to).
