From the Vault: Guerilla Tactics @ Desert Fringe

Just when you thought it was safe to go to the Barracks in Port Augusta for Desert Fringe… aliens land and claim the planet. Lisa Neale from Southern Cross News investigates, but it all goes horribly wrong when Paris Hilton infects the team.

Guerilla Tactics was a creative / professional development project directed by Susie Skinner and Cindi Drennan, jointly supported by d’faces of Youth Arts Whyalla and illuminart. Following a successful Guerilla arts project in 2009, the group went on to invade Desert Fringe in March 2010.

At the heart of Guerilla Tactics: mobile projection onto walls and performers, public intervention, and digital wreck and salvage. Plus a lot of tongue in cheek.
