At the Gala launch of the Adelaide Film Festival on Thursday 10th October, illuminart’s projections wrapped the ceiling of the Adelaide Freemason’s hall with ambient projection mapped to the architectural forms of the vaulted roof. Using six 8K projectors the projections were an ambient illuminated transformation of the space in keeping with the theme of the event. The mapping took two nights to prepare and was run from a single hackintosh, with media prepared and curated for the event. Projection mapping by Craig Laurendet; Live projection painting by Cindi Drennan, Projector installation / supply by Mosaic AV (big thanks to Craig Williams and team). Thanks also to Donna Tripodi, Neil Jensen, and Laura, and the AFF crew.
